Transportation
Access. If you don’t have access to multiple lines of transportation, economic development is not going to happen in the area. There is an abundance of access to transportation in and around Noble County. I-77 which runs North – South has 2 exits 28 and 25. I-70 intersects I-77 running East – West 20 minutes North. Additional roads include State Routes: 78 (east-west), 285, 564, 821 (north-south).
Access to air travel is also readily available and accessible in Noble County. The Noble County Aiport has a 3,800 foot runway with a 400 foot over run. Other airports around the area include Columbus; Akron-Canton Regional; Cleveland; Parkersburg and Charleston, WV; as well as Pittsburgh, PA.
The Ohio River provides our area with barge access 30 minutes south via I-77 to the Marietta area with several intermodel ports.
